Classified information protection
The ABW protects classified information, the disclosure of which could jeopardise national security or the nation’s interests. We conduct vetting procedures, issue security clearances, and oversee the proper handling of sensitive materials.
Our organisation also provides training and support public institutions and businesses in this regard.
The Head of ABW acts as the national security authority in international relations, being responsible for implementing the agreed standards and measures for the protection of classified information.
